Two people come out of the building and into a story

Oh! My God, this road is closed due to the State of Nation Address; let us take an alternative route. Do you think that from the economic point of view it is good that the  State of Nation Address is held on a Thursday?  I say this because the closure of certain roads lead to traffic delays, and therefore people arrive late at work.  Even pedestrians cannot use the roads that are closed. There is also a function after the event, whereby 1500 guests are invited.

Given that the function is in the evening, most of those that attend the function tend not to go to work on the following day, which is a Friday. You must bear in mind that guests comprise of high profile people, mostly active in the economy.  They come from different provinces, which imply that some may not be able to turn up for work owing to travel. Also on the Friday morning following the occasion roads are still closed, which leads to further delays of pedestrians and motorists. In the past, the event took place on Fridays.#smed12
